Skills

​

2009-2016 Hot working and Cold working glass: I am familiar with most all hot working techniques, and familiar with all equipment in the cold shop.

2009-2014 Kiln and Hot Casting: Familiarity with hot casting techniques, kiln casting and fusing/slumping, and annealing large cast work.

2006-2016 Metal Fabrication:  I have several years experience working with metal, building boxes, benches, molds, and sculpture. I have experience MIG, TIG, and stick welding, cutting with acetylene, plasma, and saws, grinding and polishing with a variety of tools, using a forge, and manipulating metals by hand with the forge.

2009-2016 Furnace Maintenance:  Experience with many kiln materials, from building ceramic kilns from brick and fiberfrax to casting refractory for glass furnaces and glory hole doors.

2009-2013 Electronics and Wiring: Proficient with wiring and electronics for kilns and annealers.
